For an authentic Australian outback adventure, head to Aramac, in Outback Queensland 2 – 24 May for the 2015 Harry Redford Cattle Drive.
Over 19 days, some of Australia’s most experienced drovers will drive approximately 600 head of cattle by horseback through the twists of the rugged Redford trail, reliving one of the world’s greatest cattle drives known to man. Be prepared for days in the saddle and nights under the stars, dining out on delicious camp oven cooking and sharing stories with fellow riders around the campfire.
You can join this adventure, choosing from a selection of packages which allow you to experience various sections of the drive from five to nine days. Five day packages start from $1220 per person including a three day cattle drive ride, a horse suited to your riding ability for the ride duration, all meals whilst in camp, helmet and tack (saddle etc). This package also includes return transfers from either Barcaldine, Longreach or Aramac, one night pre and post ride accommodation in Aramac, plus a welcome dinner.
